A note about personal responsibility – it is an ongoing experiment for us holding a group and living communally at Mayfaire with those who value this way of being. I look forward to sharing our home and enjoy sharing the blessings of living here, with you all. We ask for your trust and care and flexibility, no complaining is the deal! Take some time quietly to yourself when you need it, let go of personal preferences for the sake of community and all will flow smoothly. We are exploring consciousness together so it should be obvious what needs to be taken care of and when and what is appropriate and very important guidelines are below. Assistants are available to clarify questions. We ask you to be mindful that this is our home and to please take care of it as though it were your own.
Very informally, we sometimes offer bed and self-

You must shower thoroughly before any use of hot tub to reduce risk, use of chemicals and avoid any problems for anyone visiting. Do not use the hot tub if you are menstruating or have any potentially infectious disease or cold or have any open cuts, however small, or have heart problems, or have consumed any alcohol. Please take great care on the wet decking and wooden steps.
At the hot tub please be aware of talking moderately at all times as we wish to respect our neighbours. Please observe silence after 9 15pm/before 7 30am. Please make sure you are covered with a towel or clothing when outside the hot tub. There is one shower inside one shower outside Please use both to avoid queues. You use this facility at your own risk.
Do not leave candles in an unattended room, ever. This can be very dangerous. Candles and incense must never be used in bedrooms or anywhere except the group meeting areas.
If you are staying overnight, we just need to say everyone is in bed and the house
is silent, lights out and silence by 10.45pm and please don’t flush loos or take
a shower or close any doors after 10.45pm or before 7.30am. Thank you for your understanding
and cooperation about this. You are very welcome to use all the rooms until 10.15pm
but be aware many people like to go to sleep earlier than this time. If you are last
one out of a room please switch off lights and blow out candles. Use a torch at night
if possible to avoid waking others. Take the utmost care on stairs. The wooden floors
are echoey and we have found we don’t sleep well if there is noise at night as our
room is above the guest bathrooms and bedrooms and the sound carries. Everyone staying
here as well as us need to rest – and dream -

We are sorry but we cannot refund b and b payment if you change your mind, or your own childcare arrangements etc go askew as it takes an extraordinary amount of time to organize and set up and once we are full we have to turn others away. In sudden, extreme change of circumstances such as serious family illness only we will set your payment against a future booking with pleasure at our discretion.
Wishing you a safe and pleasant journey to the beautiful countryside of Gloucestershire and a peaceful, happy time til then.
Aloha.
