The Retreat Centre, Andalucia, Spain         

Located in a beautiful, unspoilt region of Andalucia near cosmopolitan city Ronda, the centre is a superbly converted water mill with pools, and serene meditation and drumming caves. It has one of the best group rooms in Europe. Its floor to ceiling windows have wonderful views and a door into the intensely still mountain caves.

The facilities are very high standard. All twin rooms have en-suite bathrooms and balconies, most overlooking the spectacular Sierra de las Nievas national park, a Unesco biosphere reserve. There is a lovely swimming pool, garden, waterfalls and fabulous walks. The food, served on a sunny terrace or in the cool restaurant, is yummy vegetarian. There is time for excursions e.g. to Grenada. On-site massage and therapies are available. A classic 'white village' is nearby, with bank and shops, and you can sample the delicious local tapas!

 What about flights and driving to the centre?

Travel is very easy. Flights are readily available via EasyJet from Bristol, Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands, e.g. currently priced at £110 return from Bristol. Remember the earlier you book, the cheaper your flight. It pays to shop around. Full easy-to-follow travel directions will be sent to you by the sir operator or travel agent.

Taxis from Malaga are approx. £35(sharing is recommended). The centre and village is about one hour's drive from Malaga and the coast. As public transport is very limited in this region it is advisable to hire a car. If you wish, we can put you in touch with other participants to share the cost.

Flight bookings and transfer to the centre are the responsibility of each individual. You should aim to arrive on Sunday between 4pm and 6pm -supper is at 6 30pm and we begin the evening session at 7 45pm - and depart the following Sunday after breakfast, or if you have an earlier morning flight then you can leave anytime on Sunday. Last retreat session ends 10pm Saturday evening
